About Myself
I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and I have spent the majority of my life in Montreal, and Toronto, Canada.
I received a B.Sc. (Hon.) degree from the University of Toronto in Surveying Science in 1993 and a M.Sc. degree from the same in 1995.
My primary research interests lie in GPS software processing. Present activities include data pre-processing, multipath mitigation and point positioning using the pseudorange and carrier phase observables all in support of spaceborne GPS (which I call SGPS). SGPS can be used for, e.g., precise spacecraft orbit determination, attitude determination and time synchronisation and applications of SGPS include, e.g., tropospheric and ionospheric sensing via SGPS occultations and geocoding of remote sensing data.
